All Natural Soy Wax Candle Burning Tips

  • Burn soy wax jar candles until a pool of wax forms across the entire top of the jar. Also, before relighting the candle be sure the wax has cooled and hardened. This will ensure an even burn all the way to the last burn.
  • Use a wick dipper to put your candle out instead of blowing it out. Push the wick down into the pool of wax and pull it back up straight. This will extinguish your candle with no smoke leaving only the great smell in your home and it will prime your wick for the next lighting.
  • Soy candle wax can be easily cleaned up with soap and water.
  • When trimming the wick only cut off the carbon ball that forms at the top of the wick.
  • Always make sure your wick is centered when you extinguish your soy wax candle. This will ensure an even burn to the bottom. If your wick does go off center then once the wax is hot or melted use your wick dipper to pull it back up to center. Then let your candle cool and it will be centered for your next burn.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Always keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Store candles in a cool dry place. Placing your soy candle in a sunny or hot area can cause the color to fade and the candle to melt unexpectedly.
  • Your candles are more beautiful and smell better when you burn them than if you just let them collect dust!
  • Always place your candle on a heat resistant dry surface.
  • Discontinue burning the candle when there is ΒΌ inches of wax left. Letting the candle burn past that point can cause the glass container to overheat and break.
  • Enjoy Hummingbird Ridge all natural Soy Wax Candles!
